The Beginning:

Nora Roberts, best-selling author, created the Nora Roberts Foundation in 2001. In the beginning, the goal of the foundation was to support literacy, children, the arts, and other humanitarian efforts. Over the years, the focus of the foundation shifted, and now includes social justice and the environment.

As we believe literacy is a human right, we have made supporting literacy organizations our highest priority. In order to create a beautiful, equitable, and safe world, we also support organizations focused on the arts, children, social justice, and the environment."
